Do I have to have previous sales or insurance experience?

No, previous sales experience or experience in the insurance industry is not required or necessary. In fact, a blank slate is sometimes the best for success, because of the training. All that is required is a positive attitude, desire to work as hard as needed, and the humbleness to learn from those that have been there.

In conjunction with Family Heritage, we have an outstanding training program. Beginning with a top notch sales academy program that takes place every week in either Nashville or Dallas, you will be put through an intensive training and development program designed to teach anyone how to do this job

After sales academy is finished you will begin a field training program with a field manager that will last as long as needed to properly develop the skills necessary to be successful. After that, we have group field training (we call them “Trainmores”) that are scheduled every four weeks so
you can learn from many different experienced leaders and share ideas.

Do I have to travel?

Travel is very limited. Outside of traveling to territory which is usually within 30 to 45 minutes from home. There are two National Meetings a year that each sales professional is asked to attend and there are ten weeks spread out during the year that we encourage all to attend called “Trainmores” which are usually couple of hours from home. The purpose of these weeks is to take away everyday distraction and have focused weeks that reinforce and develop your sales and management skills and team building events.
When will I get my first paycheck?

Business received by the home office by Wednesday at noon will be paid out by that Friday. It is very nice to be paid each week.

What is my cost to get started?

The only requirement on your part in order to get started with Fenix Financial is the cost of your specific state required license and your appointment fee. The cost of the license and appointment fee in each state varies, but for the most part will usually be between $150.00 to $350.00.
What type of insurance license do I have to have?

A Life, Accident and Health insurance license is the only license that is required to sell FHL products. It usually takes 3 to 5 days to take the pre-licensing class, then another day to take the test. In some states, a temporary producers license is available to get you started almost immediately.

Do I have to come into an office each day?

No. We do have a meeting each Monday Morning to kick off the week but after that, we teach you to work around a schedule that provides you both flexibility and a basic structure of success.

Do you have a lead program?

Yes, we have one of the best in the industry. Even so, we still do cold call. Any successful sales professional in any sales career must be willing to cold call in order to build their business. Our system works. We will train you and teach you everything you need to know in order to be successful here.

How long will it take me to move into a management position?

Actually, we call it leadership. Our belief and philosophy is, “You can’t lead where you won’t go, and you can’t teach what you don’t know.” We all sell here at Fenix Financial. One can move into a Leadership position as soon as 3 to 4 months down the line. Each person that works with Fenix Financial will receive a handbook that outlines your career path in complete detail.
